EPIC and EPIC 100
To see if a camera fits on the Epic or Epic 100, and if it has the required features for panoramic photography, please see the requirements and list below.
For point & shoot cameras: If your camera is not on the list, it either is not compatible, or has not been qualified yet. Please contact us here to ask about your camera.
For DSLR cameras:
Some small DSLR cameras are compatible with the Epic 100.
For other DSLR cameras, please see the Epic Pro list.
Requirements:
- Physically fit on the GigaPan Epic and/or the GigaPan Epic 100
- For a camera to fit on the GigaPan Epic, it should be no more than approx. 111
mm wide (left to right) and 45 mm deep (front to back).
The weight limit is 1.5 lbs. - For a camera to fit on the GigaPan Epic 100, it should be no more than approx. 148 mm wide (left to right) and 69 mm deep (front to back).
The weight limit is 3 lbs.
- For a camera to fit on the GigaPan Epic, it should be no more than approx. 111
- Allow locking or manual control of exposure for a series of photographs
- Allow locking or manual control of focus for a series of photographs
- Allow locking of white balance for a series of photographs
